If you’ve ever been training on the hangboard and wished you had a better system for timing yourself than a simple stopwatch, this could be the solution for you.

Josh Janes wrote this great forum post on Mountain Project (mountainproject.com) about the app Seconds Pro and how he used it for timing his training on the Rock Prodigy hangboard. Josh describes the way he set up his interval timers as well as includes multiple screenshot photos of how the app looks in action.

With this Seconds Pro app you can set up a timer along with sub-timers that can be broken down by sets. Perfect for timing hangboard workouts that tend to have varying interval segments. You can also color-code the screens so they are different for your “go” and “rest” intervals. Pretty sweet.
