Kuba Lacina made an entertaining video showing you how to do the 20-minute overall fitness workout that Kris Peters outlined in our podcast about how to train overall fitness for rock climbing.

In the interview, Kris says, “We need to be ok with suffering, feeling terrible, and being able to push through that.” Kuba definitely suffers and pushes through in this video, and he’ll motivate you to do the same.

Kuba is a climber living in Iceland, hence the beautiful wintery landscape shots. He’s psyched on training because, well, there’s no outdoor climbing right now and he has no gym to climb in, so he does what he need to do to stay fit.

He takes you through the workout and he expands on how to do all of the exercises in the video.

1 Round =

400m sprint
10 push jerks
10 push ups
5 pull ups
10 box jumps

Instructions: Do as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes.
