For Typewriters, stand below a pull up bar and grab bar, palms facing forward, with both hands wider than shoulder width. Hang on the bar. Bend your knees. Pull yourself up until your upper chest hits the bar. Move from side to side at the top of the pull up, keeping your head above the bar.
